Maison en Pierres, South of France
A Provençal home revived with softness, simplicity, and sun-washed elegance.
Nestled near Saint-Tropez, this stone-built house had beautiful bones but had been untouched for many years. Our brief was to gently revive it—preserving its Provençal character while creating a home that felt effortless, elegant, and deeply rooted in its surroundings.
We carried out a full interior renovation and landscape redesign, reworking both layout and flow to better suit the rhythms of modern life. Furnishings were carefully selected to reflect the spirit of the region, timeless shapes, natural materials, and soft, sun-faded textures that respond to the landscape.
Inside, a calm palette of blues and whites keeps the rooms cool and light, working in harmony with the thick stone walls and warm Provençal light. Every detail—from shutters to linens—was chosen to feel quietly luxurious, without disturbing the soul of the building.
“The goal was never to modernise for the sake of it—but to elevate what was already there, and let the setting do the rest.”
